IF I COULD

If I could be a star

I would travel a million light years

just to make your heart my home.

If I could be a sea wave

I would dance throughout the oceans

just to kiss your lips in the change of tides.

If I could be music

I would create endless love songs

just to see you smile.

But, as I'm your soulmate

I flourish like a landscape in springtime

and with all the birds and butterflies as witnesses

I will make a perfect dress

to the perfect day

of our next encounter.

My skin...

My shiny eyes

My wet lips,

that's all we need

to make miracles between the stars.
